In light of the recent communication from the World Health Organisation declaring COVID-19 as a global pandemic and the restrictive measures being forced by the UK Government, we wanted to reach out and inform you on the measures we have in place to aid business continuity during these uncertain times.
We have taken some time to assess our position, carefully considering what we believe to be the best for our customers, suppliers, employees and wider stakeholders such as the local community and consequently the NHS.
Under the Government guidelines, we fall within the ‘essential business’ category as we are a key supplier into the utilities industry.
We are pleased to report that we will be operating a ‘business as usual’ approach until further regulations prevent this or it is no longer feasible for us to do so.
Our production and despatch staff are still working hard to ensure that we hold supplies and are able to fulfil orders for our customers who provide an invaluable service to the public.
Where possible, our key administrative staff will be working remotely to continue to provide a high level of service. Due to the nature of some job roles, unfortunately, this is not possible for all key employees. Therefore, the office will also be manned to answer the telephones if you need to contact us.
Please be mindful that these are unprecedented times and our response times may be affected. We do however endeavour to resolve any queries as soon as possible.
Thanks to these measures, we feel well placed to deal with any further developments with COVID-19 without seeing a drop off in service to our customers and ultimately, their end users.
